31 Day Challenge for January 2011 - POINTS UPDATE!!

Two weeks ago I wrote a post, 

31 Day Challenge for January 2011 - My New Years Resolution

basically as a challenge to myself to post every day in January. This is the time of year that 31 Day Challengewe work on our business plans and set goals for the following year. I figured that there were others who had missed/avoided the previous challenges to post every day for a month.

Mel Wagner suggested I start a group. That made sense, so I did. Then, I threw it out there as a challenge and a way to jump-start the 2011 year. WOW 30 people have already agreed to the challenge.

Now for the rest of you, especially you newbies, I challenge you to step up to the plate and agree to post something every day in January 2011. The AR Gods have agreed to a 3000 point bonus for those of you who succeed. To sweeten the pot, Bob Stewart already has a 5 post challenge out there, Never Answer the Same Question Twice. That only leaves 26 posts!

They don't all have to be long, mind bending posts. You can throw the occasional listing or market report. That is part of what we blog about. But don't think you can get away with just those. Stretch a little. Let us know who you are and what you're about. Join the group

and support the others. Here are some rules:

Post something every day. If you're having a great day, write a couple extra posts and save them in draft format so you have something ready each day. I suggest you go follow the blogs of some who did the 31 days of December challenge. It will help you with ideas if you need them. Good Luck and LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!

31 Day Challenge for January 2011 - My New Years Resolution

31 Day Challenge

 

 

Last January 1st, I posted my New Years Resolution to commit to post at least 3 times each week. It's been a challenge and I've missed a handful of weeks but overall have averaged 2.8 posts each week. I don't know why, when I'm stressed, I have trouble writing. Maybe I don't want to share the negative I feel.

For the past several months I have been reading blogs written by AR members who have taken up the Challenge to post every day for 30 or 31 days, depending on the month of the Challenge. Each time I would think that's nice. I should do that. But each time I had a lot going on in my life. Illness, work, something that was paralyzing me.

 

31 Day ChallengeNo more excuses. It's time to make this such a habit that I don't miss any weeks. In our last Master Mind BarCamp, Thom Abbott, Lane Bailey and Kathy Drewien all talked about writing ahead so there was always something ready to post. So, as I work on my 2011 goals, I am committing to a 31 Day Challenge for January 2011. I invite you to join me. We can hold each other accountable.

Any of you who comment that you're accepting this challenge, I will subscribe to your blog and follow you all month. We will overcome our reluctance, fear, or whatever is holding us back with our blogs together! We have 14 days to get some things written ahead for the challenge. But don't let that keep you from posting these next two weeks!

I can do this. I will do this. I hope you join me!
