The Market is down, we all agree. Well, except those that say the "Recession was o
ver 2 Summers ago." But do you ever wonder why some agent's business is booming while another is struggling to survive?
The answer is FEAR.
The agent that is struggling is giving in to it. The agent that is having a record year refuses to listen to it!
Fear is paralyzing. If you're struggling you may not recognize it as fear. You might not understand what's going on at all. It manifests itself in many ways. Procrastination, depression, discouragement, feeling overwhelmed.
On the other hand you wake up ready to hit the pavement, looking forward to making those calls. This is where the Law of Attraction really comes in to play. You attract what you think about! Your thoughts become your Reality. You can't change the world around you, but you can change what you think about.
How do you do this? Control What, and Who, you listen to. The newspapers and other media are full of doom and gloom. How can anyone focus on what they're reading and hearing and possibly be upbeat?
The Media is focusing on what is wrong, what we're missing. We're not saying, put your head in a hole somewhere. But by focusing on what you don't have, but need, you create that reality.
Find the good stories. Find the people who are doing well, and there are MANY. They
are focused on the Opportunities that ARE available instead of the news.They remember that this is one of the best times to buy a home in over a decade!
They are focusing on that. They are taking action!
Yesterday my co-worker stopped by to introduce the young man he just hired to help him with his business. He is THAT BUSY!
Fear will separate those who are doing well in this economy and those who are not. Listen to your fears, but don't obey them!
