Holt Woods Subdivision, Nashville TN
Sales in Holt Woods were off to a slower start in 2009 than in normal years. January had no closings and no homes went pending. There are however, 2 homes that have gone pending February so far.
Home sales were down to 16 homes in 2008 from 31 homes in 2007. The average number of sales are normally 2 to 3 per month. Last year we averaged just over 1/month. This being said, not having any closings is not an indication of things getting slower, but of how the numbers average over the entire year.
Activity has increased since the first of the year. There are currently 7 homes on the market which is no longer an unusually large number.
