Nashville TN Veterans Day Parade
This morning as I drove into the office I was thinking about going to see the Veterans Day Parade in either downtown Nashville or downtown Franklin.
As I drove along, one of my past clients pulled out of his neighborhood behind me. It was 7:15 and we were both headed to work. He didn't see me, but it gave me pause to think of him and his family. As I pondered giving them a call today to say hello. This song came on the radio. It made me think of this man even more because I remember us praying that he wouldn't be sent to Iraq for a 3rd tour of duty. He owns his own business and his oldest son was leaving for college. It was just so scary for his wife.
Today, let us remember those who have fought for us and for those who continue to fight for our freedom. Happy Veterans' Day!
The Nashville TN Veterans Day Parade starts at 11am on Broadway and 16th Avenue.
The Veterans Day parade in Franklin begins at 11am also in Historic Downtown Franklin

Connie I love Lee Greenwood and the pix in the show were outstanding - I wrote a post about my husband in the local Veteran's Day Parade - the WWII vets were honored. We owe all vets a great debt
