David Lipscomb's 2009 Lighting of the Green with Amy Grant 
Don't miss this 5th annual, very Festive event, held at David Lipscomb Univeristy here in Nashville Tennessee. This year the event will be Tuesday December 1st at 4:30pm. There will be dozens of Christmas trees, including one that's over 35' tall. You can expect to see lights everywhere.
Performances by Amy Grant, Guy Penrod (formerly of the Gaither Vocal Band), Buddy Greene and Annie Moses Band.
Just today they announced that Brenda Lee of "Rocking around the Christmas Tree" fame will also be performing.
Free photos with Santa are available starting at 3:30 in the Bennett
Camput Center. The actual event will take place at the Allen Arena Mall. Students will be handing out cookies and hot chocolate.
Music starts at 5:30 pm
Admission is free
Bring lawn chairs and something to keep you warm - blankets.
Donations will be accepted for Second Harvest Food Bank's December food drive. Be sure to bring non-perishable items.
