Many of you may not know a lot about Nashville. It's a great place to live and a beautiful place to retire.
Just this afternoon the Tennessee Association of Realtors sent out their newsletter stating that Chief Executive magazine reported that Tennessee was in the top 5 best states for Business to find conditions to prosper. These conditions included quality of life, transportation, income taxes and tax policies. The order itself ranked Texas first, North Carolina second then Tennessee with Virginia and Nevada following.
Come to Nashville Tennessee. I love it here! Watch tonight and let me know what you think!

Connie the pictures from Nashville and the surrounding areas during the flood were heartbreaking and I"m sure everyone effected has a long road ahead of them.
Cindy - It truly has been heartbreaking for many. Think of those that can't live in their homes but can't afford to make their mortgage payments AND rent a place while they re-build. I'm so concerned about the number of foreclosures we might see as a result of this.
Tennessee is indeed a wonderful place to live. I was born in Memphis. Nashville has that same warm and friendly atmosphere. I am sure that the area will recover bigger and better from the flood.
I have admired the manner in which the Nashville folks got together to help each other. They didn't wait for the government to come in a take over.
That's American spirit.
Is there any other reason so many folks call this area home? This is a great area to live...
Helping you help others live their American dream...
John - They immediately went to work to get downtown, our major tourist area, open. Most things there will be open for the Country Music Festival in 2 weeks. Our local economy really needs it.
Lenn - Yes, that IS the American Spirit!
Michael - You've got that right. I moved to Nashville in '85 on recommendation of friends. When I got married in '90 and moved to Chicago it was only on the condition that we would return here when my husband took early retirement. Love it here. :)
Connie I missed it. Drats! I hope it was a good highlight.
Pamela - I filmed it with my Flip. If it turns out, I'll post it here at AR this afternoon!
I didn't get to see it either.......hope your recording came out okay so you can share it.
Ann - I did it on my flip. If I can figure out how to send it I will! It was a great segment and made me proud to live in Nashville!
