Short sales are such a large part of our business these days, one has to wonder why many of the Banks haven't come up with a system to make them work smoother.
Recently one of my clients lost their home to foreclosure. I personally called someone high up in the bank to see if we could correct what was a huge, less than funny, comedy of errors. Without going into the details, this video captures PERFECTLY the conversations that went on with the lender for almost 18 months.
Have a good laugh. Sadly, it's how it's working

Hi Connie - In many cases it is not quite as bad as this any more, thank goodness, but there are still times ...
Yes it is this bad...All the big banks are just like this!
Susan - I know some of them are truly working on it but...
Evelyn - I showed it to a friend at Bank of America and she just put her head down on my desk and kept saying "I'm so sorry".
OK, I'm not an agent and I don't have to make these calls, but I do have a mortgage with BOA (not my choice...my mortgage was sold) and I had an issue with them. I had to go through something very similar to this to resolve it. It was maddening and I was half crazed by the time it was all resolved. (not to my satisfaction, by the way) Seeing this video made me laugh...thanks for that!
Sharon - I've watched it half a dozen times. I still laugh. It's infuriating that it hits so close to the target though.
