Holt Woods Nashville TN Fall Picnic Quite the success!
Saturday October 2nd the Board at Holt Woods in Nashville TN hosted their best picnic ever. By postponing the picnic from the terrible heat and humidity of August to the is beautiful Autumn afternoon, attendance was good and the weather could not be beat!
Holt Woods families enjoyed Hot Dogs and Hamburgers, and a variety of side dishes and desserts.
Sherruff made an appearance as did the mounted police.
The children could have thier faces painted or paint a pumpkin.
The blow up w
ith slide was a HUGE success.
Gina Brawley did a live demonstration on composting with a very clear printed handout for those ready to take the next step and start. Julie Berbiglia, one of the hosts of the TN Garden Show demonstrated how to make a Rain Barrel. She had samples of barrels that Metro sells.
Holt Woods is a delightful neighborhood in the southern part of Davidson County.

Terrie, Thank you. Our summer was so incredibly hot that they moved the picnic for the first time. Saturday was drop dead beautiful and Sunday turned very cold. Just shows you that you can't predict the weather!
