Cottage Grove at Twelve Stones Crossing is located in Goodlettesville TN just a couple of miles off I-65 in Sumner County. This Goodall Community is not actually deeded as a 55 or over development but the building style and amenities should entice the most discriminate retirees!
Unlike their other Retirement Communities in Middle TN, these Goodall condominiums have rear entry garages. The floorplans are similar in that they are very open, all on one level, wide doorways and the beloved private courtyard! The Clubhouse had a great workout room, a large meeting/party room with a large kitchen. The back outdoor part of the clubhouse also has an entertaining area that is both covered and uncovered looking out over a stream and lovely treed area!
Active Adult Communities in Nashville tend to have all the exterior maintenance, including landscaping, irrigation and roofs covered by the HOA fees. Cottage Grove at Twelve Stones Crossing has all that AND the homes are equipped with Direct TV and High Speed Internet access by AT&T. The Water/sewer and trash are also covered by the homeowners' fee.

Connie, it is amazing how many of these 55 and older communities are coming to Middle Tn. But, no wonder...such a great place to retire.
I hear they are calling it "half back" as people who moved to Florida from the Midwest and Northern States are moving "half way back" from Florida.
Is there any that have boat docks?

Missy - There is this great place that's gated and has its own boat docks. It's not deeded 55 and older but most of the residents are. Most have golf carts in the garage that they drive down to the dock. I'll send you what's there so you can look at it!

Karen - I love that we have so many Active Adult communities in Nashville TN! You used to have 2 choices and neither was very attractive!
Love the exterior! One of the things I don't like about condos and townhomes is the "sameness", but these are nicely broken up with some really unique design aspects.
