Del Webb is sort of the pioneer when it comes to resort-style living for "Active Adults". "Del Webb is all about the lifestyle, the social aspect." says Daniel Watson, marketing director at Pulte Homes (which owns Del Lake Providence by Del WebbWebb).

Retiring in Tennessee has become a popular idea for those looking for a milder climate and no state income tax. Nashville is centrally located, bordering 8 states. It is withing 600 miles of over 70% of the population. This lets those retirees stay closer to friends and family!

Lake Providence is part of the Providence community that includes shopping and restaurants. The Mayor of Mt. Juliet recently was quoted "you can shop and eat without ever having to pass a traffic light". That shows you how convenient this location is.

Shopping at the Providence Marketplace includes the Kroger, Target, Best Buy, J.C. Penny and Barnes and Noble. Restaurants include Old Charleys, Red Robin, Panera Bread and Red Lobster.

Carolyn - it's truly a great place! The people that I've sold homes to there are delighted with the neighborhood.

Ralph - I think you would too. If you want more information, please let me know. I'd love to give you a tour of the place.

Karen - They really do. First time I went out there, I  told my husband that we should consider moving there. Truth is, I don't want to commute from that side of town for the next 10+ years. Maybe then. :)

I'm curious if there are many resales now that they have been building for a couple years. How do the resale prices compare to the builder prices?
Posted by Shari Posey (Prudential California Realty) over 1 year ago

Shari - there haven't been many and they've been priced very comparable to the new homes.
