What a wonderful event, Connie. And having The Judds there will be such a treat. Enjoy!
How cool is that? I love the Judds...I also like the Wrights...have you seen them? You must get to see great entertainment living close to Nashville.
We have a place called Joy's House here that is kind of similar to your Brightstone...isn't it wonderful that someone cared enough to start these havens. I hope many people turn out to support their mission.

Hello Connie, what a great organization. I went to Brightstones Mission History link...pretty impressive...kudos to them and to you for putting this out there...and after all who can resist a chance to see Naomi and Wynonna?
Connie~ Sounds like a wonderful event!! I have to say that I really like the Judds...Country music is my favorite!!
Great post, I really enjoyed the video with Brenda Hauk talking about the community and the commitment to help, she seems incredibly genuine with is so rare these days. Nice work spotlighting this event supporting Brightstone!
This sounds like a great organization, more are needed. We have some similar here in NJ but not nearly enough to fill the need. I hope this event is a huge success.
Kathryn - I think so too. I'm actually thinking about going to this one.
Cindy - This will actually sell out. Truly a full house!
Nick- What's so cool is that you get to see them up close. They sang at my church a few years ago. No one knew that they were going to sing, well the choir director did, so it was a cool surprise!
Melissa - I've never been a big country music person. I pick and choose what I listen to. My girlfriend in Florida got me listening to the Judds many years ago.
Russell - I met Brenda a couple of years ago when she gave me a tour of the place and told me of the vision she had to build a long term care facility for these people.
Laura - Not only are there not enough of them, there are so many lonely people out there that don't know that this is available for them.
Connie, this is such a worthy cause. How fortunate we are that we have celebrities so willing to give of their time to promote this much needed cause. I may have to attend this one.
Tammie - I think so too! Brenda emailed me yesterday to thank me for the extra exposure!
