Sort of "Open House" wedding ceremonies? This certainly sounds like an economical way to have a great backdrop for photos.
"Elopement Promotion" How clever, I'd be interested in hearing about the results on this!
Connie - That is AWESOME!!!! I went to Belmont in the 90's and the grounds and mansion are just STUNNING.

Liz - Think of it like the "Drive through" weddings in Vegas!
Jason - Obviously Valentine's day is the most popular day of the year to get married. Belmont Mansion already has a whole wedding department and is a very picturesque place to get married.
Sharon - Yes they really are. If the weather is nice, outside weddings would be beautiful.
What a clever idea. Wonder if they would allow renewal vows? We got engaged on Valentine's Day.

Connie- what a cute idea... and sounds like fun. You going to show up to take pictures???
OOO!!! I love that! What a cute idea:) I was just in Nashville not that long ago - went to Pulaski - loved it:)
Oh, how cool! If I were in a different place in life, this might be very tempting.
Oh Margaret - How sweet! I'm sure they would!!!
Kathy - I would like to just have a quiet day with my husband!!!
Courtney - What were you doing in Pulaski?????
Margaret - You know how many people do last minute things like this. I'm sure there will be a long line!
Connie -- Belmont Mansion looks beautiful. What a place to tie the knot. That will certainly be a happy place on the 14th!
Barbara - They have beautiful lawns with gazebos. It's quite the place!
Great idea! This seems like something that could easily make a wedding a reasonably priced event, and a lot less stressful!
Sounds like an easy wedding to put together.
How fun is this!!! I love it :) such a cool thing :)
Hi Connie, What a beautiful building. Bet they will be busy, busy! And what a nice thing to do for the community. Some couples will get a beautiful wedding, who couldn't otherwise afford it.
Nashville clearly knows how to keep it simple and memorable. Hmm... now will any of those newly married couples need a new home????
Sounds like a bargain. I just had a young photographer in my office today. Jason is getting married in June and I was blown away by the figures he was giving me for wedding ceremonies. Unbelievable!
Connie
Very cool idea. Fast and Economical...Only in America!
HOw fun. I wonder how many spontaneous weddings will teke place. Good stuff!
Hi Connie - What a great idea. When was the picture taken?
Wanda - When you think of what people spend on weddings.... Yep, this is a good choice. LOL
Susan - Easy and stress free! :)
Christine - Me too! I just wonder how many people they'll have.
Joyce - Beats Vegas as far as classy goes!
Emily - I guess I could stand there with my cards!! LOL
Kim - Unbelievable is right. Just the pictures and flowers can break the bank!
Deb - You can say that again! Many here in Middle Tennessee go to Gatlinburg on Valentine's day to get married. this is much easier!
Kate - I'd really like to know too!
Conrad - That picture is several year old. Belmont Mansion is part of Belmont University but it has it's own tours and programs.
Connie, now this made me smile! An open house for getting married! I wonder how many "takers" they'll get?
Pam - I imagine they'll be busy all day!!
