Grave Matters, October 29th 7-9pm at Rest Haven Cemetery and Franklin Cemetery Costumed re-enactors will portray some of the people buried in these cemeteries many years ago. They will tell the stories of these lost souls. www.franklinonfoot.com or call 615-400-3808 for tickets and details.


Ghouls at Grassmere will have its final weekend of fun for the kids at the Nashville Zoo. They will enjoy a Haunted Hayride, Monster Mash, Carn-Evil and too much candy! www.NashvilleZoo.org

 


Trail of Fear Haunted Woods, tonight and Saturday at the Preston Farm in Leiper's Fork Village, 4144 Old Hillsboro Road. This family friendly event lets visitors follow a guided tour of the winding trail through the forest, past a cemetery, mineshaft and mazes. Before and after the trail you can enjoy the campfires. 615-477-6799.

Haunted Houses


El Dia de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead) will be celebrated at Cheekwood from 10am to 5pm on Saturday. This traditional Hispanic Holiday will delight everyone who attends. www.Cheekwood.org


Haunted Forest: Three Sisters Twisted Trail of Terror, for ages 10 and above 7-11:00pm tonight and Saturday at the Bowie Nature Park, 7211 Bowie Lake Road in Fairview. This new event is hosted by the Fairview HS Drama club and Fairview Parks Department. www.BowiePark.org

Connie, How creative!  The cemetery comes alive with costumed re-enactors who portray souls that rest there.  Not only interesting but great fun too!   Halloween always results in too much candy.  Enjoy your weekend.
