December 8:
BrightStone's Annual Christmas Program featuring "Santa Claus is Back in
Town" by the 35 special needs adults who participate at BrightStone. 6:30pm in Jamison Hall at the Factory in Franklin.
Trevecca's Christmas Chapel at Trevecca's Community Church. The Trevecca Choral Union, Madrigalians, Jazz Ensemble, Vocal Edge Ensemble, Gospel Choir and Wind Ensemble will perform during the 9:30am service.
The Tennessee State University Poinsettia Open House from 9am to 4pm in the Greenhouse on the Campus Farm off Ed Temple Blvd. there will be 32 varieties of Poinsettias. If you fill out their survey, they'll give you a small plant to take with you!

Blair School of Music will offer the Blair Children's Chorus Program with the Blair children's concert Choir, Young Men's Chorus, Choristers, Nashville Boy Choir and Young Singers of Blair. 7pm in Ingram Hall, 2400 Blakemore Ave.

Belmont Mansion's Christmas with the Acklens Holiday Event 10am to 4pm with a day full of interactive events including holiday card making! 615-460-5459
Bruce Amato will do a Holiday Magic Show at the Bellevue Library at 10:30am in the Children's area.
Dickens of a Christmas street festival in Downtown Franklin will feature a bazaar, street musicians and costumed characters. 10am to 5pm Saturday and 12-5pm Sunday December 11th. There will be a "Town Sing-a-long" at 4:30pm on Sunday in the Public Square. www.HistoricFranklin.com
Brentwood Baptist Christmas Program, Our God is With Us, featuring the full orchestra and both the Adult and Student Choirs. It will be both the 10th and 11th at 7pm at the Church 7777 Concord Road in Brentwood.
December 11
"The Messiah" performed by the Nashville Community Choir will be held at
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 7pm. 1100 Gray Fox Lane in Franklin. They ask that you bring non-perishable food items for Second Harvest.
Walk Through Bethlehem at Woodmont Christian Church on Hillboro Road. This event is in its 28th year and features over 400 church members in period clothing with live camels, goats, and sheep. Imagine participating in a market during the time of Jesus! 1-7pm. 297-8563
The Historic Buchanan Log House Christmas Program, 2-4pm at 2910 Elm Hill Pike. Plan to see Santa and Mrs. Clause and a yule log lighting! www.buchananloghouse.com
The Nashville Flute Choir will perform its Holiday Concert at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts at 2pm. www.Fristcenter.org
Christ Church will have its annual Lessons and Carols service at 4pm. 900 Broadway. 255-7729

Cathy - There's a small town in Southern Tennessee named Fayettville and they also do it. The whole town gets involved and people drive from miles away to attend!
