Light Up the Night in Brentwood TN Christmas Lights 2011

This Saturday,December 9th, 2011, God willing, Brentwood homes will be lit upLight up Brentwood with their beautiful Christmas Lights displays. Streets will be lined with hundreds of luminaries.

 

Last year Brentwood was dark. Rain canceled the first event and then a crippling snowstorm cancel the rain date night!

 

This year neighborhood organizers are planning the event to begin at dusk. All are hoping for good weather! The streets will be full of cars cruising the neighborhoods looking at the colorful, and sometimes extravagant, displays!

Erika - Right now the forecast is good. It's great fun to load up in the car and drive around. There are some place that the congestion from all the cars is almost funny!

It's so nice when whole neighborhoods plan a night like this. I love it when the streets are lined with the luminarias. Hope the weather cooperates this year.

Will keep fingers crossed you have nice weather and enjoy this fun event.  I remember in VA we used to take our hot coco in the car and just join the traffic jam driving through one popular neighborhood every year.
