Recycle your Christmas Trees in Nashville TN
Many of you still have that Christmas Tree at your house and are wondering what to do with it. Metro's Brush pick-up is months away. Good news.
Again this year, Metro Parks has set up locations throughout the city where you can drop off those LIVE Christmas trees. The Following Parks will take the trees, free of decorations and lights:
Cane Ridge, Cedar Hill, Edwin Warner, Elmington, Joelton, Richland, Sevier, Two Rivers, and Whitfield
The Christmas Tree Drop Off program will continue until February 17, 2012.

Hi Connie...Ours is artificial and gets recyled back to the garage in two big boxes. I must admit I miss having a real tree. Maybe next year.
Kate
I love it when I see communities with tree cleanups. It's such a great tool. Me? I have a fake tree.... but it's fading so I either need to spray paint it or get a new one.
Connie - Recycling - very good!
Hi Connie....it been a long while since we had a live tree, I forgot you need to dispose of them and recycle (ours goes in the crawl space) if possible
Kate - Ours does too! Actually it went to the attic, but this is the last year I'm doing those stairs!
Lindsay - this one's only a couple of years old, but I'm not crazy about it.
Hi Connie,
I did a video today on recycling your Christmas trees. It's in the process of being published on You Tube and than I'm posting it. How funny.
Hi Connie, This is great information for people with live trees in Nashville!
Connie- we were noticing the number or rather lack of Christmas trees outside this week... waiting to be picked up. I think a lot of people have gone the artificial tree route. But... if you do have one, yes, recycle!
Cathy - I love recycling of everthing!
Fred - The options available to us are incredibl
Cindy - Saw it. Loved it!
Linda - There are many being dropped off right now.
Kathy - It's becoming much more common as we get older. No kids to get excited about the real one!
