Second Saturday in South Nashville!
Bay St. Louis, Mississippi has a 20 year tradition of celebrating the Second Saturday of each Month throughout the year. Downtown businesses open their doors and publicize their products and services.
John Brennan and Dave Moynan moved to Nashville after Hurricane Katrina slammed into the Louisianna Coast in 2005. With them came their business, maggie may's - off the coast. maggie may's is a Fine Southern ART and American Craft Gallery located in Lenox Village. They feature original works of arts and crafts by local artists.
They host these Second Saturday events and invite you to come have a glass of wine, listen to the rhythm of our local musicians, meet new artists and enjoy a scrumptious dinner. This month's event is this Saturday November 8th from 5 to 8pm.
To read more about maggie may's Second Saturdayand John Brennan and Dave Moyan, read the article about them in The Tennessean.

What a cute little shop that is, and such a neat story. I really enjoyed this post, Connie.
Maggie Mays sounds like my kinda place. Too bad I'm so far away. The wonderful thing about blogging is that I learn about all these cool places. The downside is that they are rarely close enough to visit. Oh well...
BTW...thank you so much for your prayers for my daughter, Avery. Your comment really touched my heart. To know that you read Brad's comment to me and came to offer your support is really special. God is so good! Today was a much better day for my baby girl. She has a long road in front of her, but God is faithful! I am believing Him for a complete healing. I KNOW He is going to heal my child. I KNOW IT!
I'd like to add you as an associate. GBU, Connie!
Margaret, so kind of you to stop by and read my blog. This is such a great little shop. I just hope they can survive until they get established!
Elizabeth - I'm going back there tomorrow afternoon. I have my eye on a fun pair of earrings! I'm emailing my girlfriends and linking them to the blog so that they will go too!
I don't know what's going on, exactly, with Avery but you have a very strong group of prayer warriors surrounding you! you can't beat that. :)
Thanks for the add. I'd like to do the same.
This is very cool. I don't get out that way very often, so I'll have to find time to check it out. Thanks for the tip!
Nice pictures! This looks like a lot of fun so I may have to make it a point to stop by and see what I must have!
Denise - I promise you it will be worth your while! It has such fun stuff.
Donna - I suggest Pie in the Sky Pizza, it's next door. Then walk it off w/a little shopping! :)
